Our Story
Over thirty years ago, the Lord spoke to Steve and Barbara Arbo about establishing a place of prayer in New England. But before establishing a physical place, He made something else clear: they were first called to establish a place of prayer in the hearts of people.
That calling has taken them around the world through prayer retreats, clinics, prayer schools, worship, teaching, and revival gatherings. For more than sixteen years, Steve provided oversight to a 24/7 place of prayer at Calvary Cathedral International in Fort Worth, Texas.
In 2012, God began shifting their lives into a new chapter of ministry, drawing their hearts back toward New England and a continued calling to awaken prayer, strengthen believers, and prepare people for what God is doing in this hour.
Meet Steve & Barbara Arbo
Steve and Barbara Arbo are a husband-and-wife ministry team who have spent decades demonstrating the powerful, hand-in-hand relationship between prayer and revival.
Steve’s gift for in-depth biblical teaching and ministry in song, coupled with Barbara’s uplifting prophetic exhortation, creates an atmosphere where people are encouraged to draw near to God and experience the free flow of His presence.
Together, they have ministered around the world through prayer retreats, prayer schools, teaching, worship, and revival gatherings—encouraging believers to deepen their lives of prayer, hear from God, and make room for His presence.
At the heart of their ministry is a desire to see lives challenged, changed, renewed, and revived as people encounter God and respond to what He is doing.
The heart behind the ministry
For Steve and Barbara, prayer has never been confined to a building. It is a way of life—a place of communion with God where hearts are transformed, faith is strengthened, and people are prepared to carry His presence into the world around them.
After decades of ministry, their conviction remains the same: God is still awakening His people to prayer.
They continue to teach, encourage, write, speak, and create resources that help people draw closer to God, recognize His voice, and participate in what He is doing in their lives, communities, and beyond.
